Subutan or Pandan mats are made in the Philippines from the leaves of the Pandan plant or Pandanus Amaryllifolius. Each mat is handwoven in a solid or multicolor spiral pattern with a finished edge and are nearly 23-25 inches (60-64 cm) in diameter.
