HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE
Date: Thursday, November 20 through Saturday, November 22
Time: Extended hours for the open house event are 10am to 9pm.
Location: Judith M

Every dame needs accessories and we are offering a huge selection of hats, scarves, gloves and mittens to keep shoppers warm AND fashionable this winter. Find gifts for all the dames on your Christmas List with one-stop shopping at Judith M. During our three day Holiday Open House extravaganza we are having a Trunk Show highlighting specialty wares from the tri-state area. Designers participating include:
Boardwalk Studios - life-sized Victorian Christmas Dummy Boards
Scarlett’s Red Hats - funky, fun bags, pins and flip-flops
Panache - faux suede bags with that bit of extra pizzazz
La Belle Petite - unusual fiber and beadwork
Also on hand to greet you will be the creator of our lovely hatpins, Mary Poppe, from Donna’s Family Jewels.

Shelves are brimming with hats for day wear and evening dress, in felts, chenille, recycled silk, fleece, faux suedes, furs, velvets, and washable wools. Other accessories for warmth with style are fur muffs, collars and cuffs, mittens in leather or recycled silk fiber, gloves in soft chenille or leather (with cashmere lining). And scarves with pockets, extra long scarves, lacy tube scarves, scarves in the softest chenille you can imagine, fur scarves, hooded scarves, wool scarves and reversible fleece scarves.

Three delightful handcrafted jewelry lines are among the other finery and frippery on our shelves. One jewelry line features delicate ribbons, beads and bangles, a second line is of insects in metals of ombre hues and the third line is whimsical “wild women”. Just for the holidays we will have Olde English Christmas Crackers for the young and young at heart. Pop the cracker and small gifts tumble out. Colorful ribbons and holiday themed scarves, silk velvet wraps and special occasion bags that you won’t want to leave behind are a few more of the surprises waiting for you at Judith M.
Please join us to see, feel and try on these wonderful gifts.

NEW ITEMS

HATBOXES
Arriving soon is our own zippered hatbox. The round hatbox is soft-sided, in a breathable and water repellent material. Size is 16” diameter x 7” depth, and comes in hunter green with our logo in gold. These will not stand up to airplane travel, but are wonderful for motoring tours and storage at home. Fur hats, collars and muffs will benefit from being stored in our round hatbox. The box will come complementary with the purchase of our high end hats. They will also be available to buy.

CLASSES
We are working on the schedule for 2004 and will post classes on the website soon as dates and topics are confirmed. Check the classes category for the schedule. Tentatively scheduled are trims in January, buckram blocking in mid March, straw blocking in late April. We try to offer at least one class each month January through November. Always, let us know your ideas for workshops.

A golden autumn day is beckoning, think I'll take a stroll to enjoy the crisp air and October blue sky. All the best wishes to each of you,

Judith M
