January 2003 Newsletter

All the best wishes to each of you in 2003! And I dearly hope your first few days of the new year are faring much better than ours. The website was down from New Year's eve until midday on the 2nd, and we just seem to have a steady number of things going wrong, being broken and so on. Perhaps we are getting all the bad luck out of the way early in the year. So we'll look towards a super great tomorrow!

REMINDER to check our website periodically to view Sales or Special Features, Events and Classes here at the shop. Classes are listed through April currently, and I must tell you, the list is grand. I've included links to the events and classes opening pages. The Felt Hat Class, Jan. 17-18, has a few openings yet and we would love to have you join us. February will find us offering two beading classes, a straw braiding class in March and a straw hat class in April. The April class is with Ms. veronica Chin of Chicago. She has taught for 23 years and having her do a class with us is a real coup. Register early as her class will fill quickly. This is her only appearance for the year. http://www.judithm.com/shop/?page=shop/browse&category_id=99f0901794a070e076884c4264f4efac& (The date is not finalized but we are working towards a class in mid summer with Waltraud Reiner of Australia. Keep checking the classes page on the website for more information)

NEW PRODUCTS are steel WIRE JOINERS and a FEZ crown block. We've had the non-rusting brass joiners for years, added plastic joiners earlier this year and are finally able to source regular steel ones. https://www.judithm.com/shop/?page=shop/browse&category_id=2f55f998bce0440094fb4acd568d08af&

A FEZ style crown block has been added to our inventory of special order wooden blocks. https://www.judithm.com/shop/?page=shop/browse&category_id=c3ce9bf5247633b42f166a8539fdb159&

ROYAL ASCOT LADIES DAY is the theme for our annual Summer Tea this June. We plan to offer a pre-tea day of hat trimming lessons for those interested in creating their own airy confections to wear. http://www.judithm.com/calendar/

We are ever eager to listen to your hat success tales, please keep in touch.
