What's new at the shop / 27 August 2001 END OF SUMMER HAT SALE! I apologize for not letting you know before now that summer hats are reduced. I had planned to run the sale just until the end of the month of August, but since I am only now sending this notice I will keep the sale going through September 8, or earlier if winter hats push them out. Most hats are reduced up to 50%, some are as little as $3 - $5! The dressier styles are at 20% off. This does not include designer label hats.

OTHER NEW items include wonderful postcards of VOGUE covers from 1930s - 70s.

MILLINERY FLOWERS in velvets, silks and leather just came in today. From big, lush flowers and sprays to teeny velvets and organdies.

TRAVEL TRUNKS in three sizes will hold several hats. The small is 16" wide by 8" deep / $59. The medium is 19" wide x 9" deep / $69 and the extra deep box is 20" wide x 18" deep / $89. This one is like those we have used in the shop and is also great as storage at the end of the couch, for throws and such.

The last new item I want to mention are Hand crocheted SNOODS and MITTS. There are several sizes and styles of snoods in basic colors of black, white, ivory and ecru. The mitts come in two styles in the same colors. These are all made of pure cotton.

So if you are ready for a day out, do come in.

The Fall Hat Show is Saturday, September 15 from 10am - 4pm. The milliner guests are from Mequon, Wisconsin. Elegance, Ltd. makes hats in 1930s styles.
