NEW ITEM - ONIONSKIN HOODS

We have found a supply of vintage onionskin straw hoods in lovely colors. Onionskin straw is from viscose and is also called Cellophane straw. These were made in Italy in the 1940s and 1950s. There are 3 shades of pinks, 2 greens, 7 shades of blues and 7 shades of browns, plus ivory and a silver grey. There are not equal numbers of all colors so we encourage you to order the colors you want right away. These will block easily and promise to dazzle your customers. REVISED TITLE FOR RIBBONWORK

The book we publish, Ribbon Trimmings: A Course in Six Parts, has been given a new cover and six pages of examples in color. We did this to help the reader better visualize the finished flower or bow. We selected some of our favorites for this project. Perhaps one year we will be able to include photos of all the projects found in the pages of this book. This book is still one of the best for in depth instruction on making all sorts of glamorous and artistic hat embellishments.
